Something that's been useful for me: find seventh chord arpeggios that line up visually and physically with the seventh chord voicings you already know.
Here's a common C major 7 voicing (a shell voicing). Can I find a C major 7 arpeggio that keeps me in the same hand position? I can visualize it right off the shell voicing without moving my hand.
I can do the same thing for D minor 7 up here. I don't have to move my hand; I just have an arpeggio right there.
Once you can find major 7 and minor 7 arpeggios this way, you can start to build single note lines.
