Introducing I-vi-ii-V with 7th Chords

This lesson is all about taking 7th chord shapes and putting them in context—by playing a I-vi-ii-V progression.

We are playing the progression in the key of C using a variety of 4-string voicings across the different string sets of the guitar. You'll learn how to play one chord per bar and two chords per bar, playing the progression at different speeds.

We'll focus on phrasing the chords (I & vi together, ii & V together) and, once we have the shapes down, we'll start moving to the key of E.
